Super Lash Tips

I professionally DO NOT recommend these. However, occasionally they should be fine. Listed below are some tips for those effects that you desire:

1)      Use individual clusters of lashes. They are easier to apply than full strips.

2)      Fake lashes do not have the same curve as natural ones. Bend them around a pencil before applying.

3)      Curl your own with an eyelash curler.

4)      Line your fake lashes with adhesive and wave them around until they are tacky – they stay on better once they have dried a little.

5)      Coat all lashes with water proof mascara to bind them.

Now, you can lash out...Whiuop...

Health Status Guide

We have been promoting a FREE knowledge and NO obligation beauty talk to our old contact circle. Our Forever Living up line suggested these. However, other than our down lines' contacts, none of ours attended. I felt guilty as our up line put so much effort but we did not deliver directly. This knowledge is new to us. We have been putting it to good use as a health status guide. We can access our health status by looking in the mirror and hey, it is FREE!

Hence, I would like to benefit all my fashionistas! I am confident all will benefit from this and achieve good health resulting in happiness and rewarding in beauty J

Face mapping: What are your spots telling you?
19 APRIL 2013We're often left baffled by a sudden outbreak of spots concentrated in one area of the face. Is it hormone-related? Did I miss my five-a-day?

The ancient art of face mapping can help you identify the cause of your blemishes by splitting the face into several sections such as forehead, chin and nose and understanding the different 'zones'.

Each area reflects a different part of your internal health, so what exactly do pimples on certain areas mean?
HELLO! Online takes you behind a facial spot map…

Face mapping

Zones 1 & 3: The Digestive System
Chocolate and spots are a synonymous combination but, in general, high amounts of fat within your diet can lead you to breakout across your forehead. Cleanse your diet with antioxidant-rich green tea and up your water intake to clear this area.

Zone 2: Liver
Alcohol and dairy are said to be the main causes for spots in this area as well as reactions to food allergies. Consult your doctor first if you are worried about intolerance but otherwise.

Zones 4, 6, 8 and 10: Kidneys
Spots close to your ear and even dark circles around the eyes can be caused by dehydration. Make sure you keep well hydrated throughout the day by drinking, at least, eight glasses of water a day and avoiding coffee, tea and salt whenever possible.

Zone 7: Heart
This area is skin is full of dilated pores so make sure your make-up brushes and anything that you bring close to your face are kept clean. Try to reduce high blood pressure for an internal solution to clearing spots in this area. Replace 'bad' fats with more fruits, vegetables, nuts and Omega-rich fish and consult your doctor if you have any further heart-related concerns.

Zones 5 & 9: Respiratory system
If you're a smoker you may find that you are more prone to acne along the tops of your cheeks. However, like most people, increasing your exposure to fresh air with long and regular walks can do wonders for your complexion.

Zone 11 & 13: Hormones
For many women, this zone is a key indicator of stress and hormonal imbalances particularly around a certain time of the month. While there is little to do that can prevent these changes, eating clean with plenty of exercise will do more good than bad for your complexion.

Zone 12: Stomach
If your diet has been loaded with rich and heavy foods then consider a detox or adding more fibre to your diet and exercise to routine to help with digestion.

14: Illness
Spots here can indicate that your body is trying to fight off bacteria. Take it easy if you begin feeling unwell and drink plenty of water to give your body some time to relax.

5 everyday habits that ruin your looks
Remedies and solutions to each and every beauty dilemma
RealBuzzRealBuzz – Fri, Aug 24, 2012 09:00 BST
There are lots of things we do every single day that ruin our looks, from washing our hair to talking to our friends. To make sure you stay looking pretty, fresh-faced and perfect, check out this list and make sure you don’t do any of these habits that ruin your appearance. If you do find some of your habits on this list, we’ll also give you remedies and solutions to each and every beauty dilemma.

http://l1.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/dTF.Ny9s_y8x_FG8P953Aw--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7cT04NTt3PTMxNQ--/http:/l.yimg.com/os/401/2012/08/24/habits-ruin-looks-jpg_120747.jpg
Avoid bad habits ruining your looks
Everyday habit that ruins your looks: Sleeping
Although every princess needs her beauty sleep, sleeping could be causing your skin to age unnecessarily.  The problem with sleeping is not the process itself (or those scary dreams where you kiss that hideous colleague of yours). The problem lies with your pillowcase. Surprisingly your pillowcase can draw moisture away from you and this can age skin. It can also leave unattractive lines over your face.
To combat your pillowcase problem dermatologists recommend you invest in a silk pillow cover. Silk contains amino acids, similar to those found in our moisturisers, so when we rest our heads for the night our skin is not losing any essential moisture. Problem solved.
Everyday habit that ruins your looks: Applying makeup
In the UK the average woman uses 12 beauty products a day, yet these beauty products could be ruining your looks rather than improving your appearance. When we apply our face creams, our expensive moisturisers and our foundation, most of us are guilty of doing so with our fingers. Although using your fingers is fine, how many of us clean our hands before doing so? Some of us may wash hands before applying makeup in the morning or the night, but not so many do so when they do the odd touch-up job.
This is bad news for our skin. Our fingers harbour bacteria and applying your products in this way causes bacteria to be transferred to you face, which can cause infection and spots. To prevent blemishes and still use your favourite beauty products make sure you use a hand sanitizer before applying your face creams or use makeup brushes.

Everyday habit that ruins your looks: Drinking water
Although drinking water can help improve the way we look by nourishing our skin, the way we actually drink can make us look terrible.  Using bottles or straws to drink is something most of us do every single day, but did you know that drinking through a bottle or straw can age our skin? Drinking in this way can give us the same lines and wrinkles around our mouths that smoking causes. If you want to stay looking young and wrinkle-free it’s time you bought a glass to get your daily water fix and ditched the bottles and the straws.
Everyday habit that ruins your looks: Talking to your friends
If talking was an Olympic sport, we’d all be gold medallists by now and although we love kicking back and relaxing on our phones and chatting to our friends, your skin doesn’t. Think about the places we leave our phones. We leave them on café tabletops, in the drinks holder of our car and on the seat in changing rooms. We leave our phones on shop countertops, we lend our phones to our friends and even leave them on the side in the public bathroom when we wash our hands.
When you think about your phone in this way, it’s not surprising that phones can cause spots and blemishes.  To combat this problem use antibacterial wipes and be a little bit more mindful where you leave your phone next time you’re out and about.

Everyday habit that ruins your looks: Washing your hair
If you want to look hot and feel good the very least you need to do is keep clean, right? Well, although basic hygiene is obviously a vital part of your beauty regime you have to choose your products carefully. Within most shampoos and hair conditioners you will find a foaming chemical called sodium laureth sulphate.
Although commonly used, this chemical can damage your hair, your skin and your health. The Hair Loss Control Clinic explain that sodium laureth sulphate can even cause your hair growth cycle to decline and suggest the chemical can prolong your hair loss phase. So to keep your hair thick and luscious, choose products that do not contain this chemical, like organic shampoos and conditioners.

...and the Dstysionist says, "Practise has no harm. If you cannot afford, you will still be pretty".

Dream Woman

Is this the perfect woman?

An online beauty retailer claims to have created the world’s most beautiful woman.

Feelunique.com asked 9,350 shoppers to vote for which parts of female stars they most admired and desired, and then mocked up a profile of what the perfect woman would look like.
After gathering the results, a computer generated image was created of the perfect women.

The perfect woman. Feelunique.com/Rex.

She has Angelina Jolie’s pillow lips, Megan Fox’s perfectly shaped eyebrows and The Duchess of Cambridge’s long glossy hair.

Cheryl Cole’s chocolate brown eyes, along with Kate Beckinsale’s nose, Keira Knightley’s model cheekbones and Kelly Brook’s chest complete her look.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, whose chin was voted the best, is the only blonde to feature.
A spokeswoman for the website said: “We had great fun putting together our Ultimate Woman. She is uncannily beautiful and looks a bit like one of the Kardashian sisters or Sandra Bullock, although Angelina’s pout is unmistakable.”

However, we think the resemblance to Kim Kardashian is surprising since none of her features made the list.

The dream woman and Kim Kardashian look similar? Feelunique.com/PA.

Do you agree with the results? Which celebrity body part would you most want?

A compilation of beauty features as preferred by the majority. The closest living model is KIM KARDASHIAN. In my opinion, I like her. However, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Wow! That Brows!

Brow Care

Bibliography

Eyes are window of the soul and your brows are the curtains. Well, that unfamiliar addition... ;-) is my own. How do you upkeep your brows so that they compliment your eyes perfectly? Listed below are some ever useful tips:

1)    After bath time – This is the best time to pluck. Your skin will be warm and your pores open. After plucking each hair, use your finger and apply firm pressure to stop stinging.

2)    Good tweezers – A good investment will last a lifetime.

3)    Start gradually – You do not want a drastic overnight look.

4)    Let there be light – Daylight is perfect. If not, your mirror must be brightly lit. After plucking each hair, brush your brow into shape. Remove strays then.

5)    Start below – Locate the highest part of your brow. Now pluck the hair directly beneath that. This method, you will not lose the outlines of your brow. When plucking, ALWAYS look straight at the mirror.

6)    Access – See from a distance. Give your newly pluck brows a few days to ‘set-in’

7)    Nothing is perfect – Define your brows but DO NOT aim for perfection. You will over pluck with regret.

8)    Leave the top – NEVER pluck the top of your brow. If you do, your shape will be unnatural. You may pluck up to two strays. If they are more, choose the ones that are most obvious.

9)    Check fall – BEFORE plucking, ALWAYS check where the hair root falls. You do not want a bare patch.

10)  No drawing – Never draw or pencil your plan to pluck. This will camouflage the actual shape.

Top 5 NEVERS!

Never, never and NEVER:

1)    Over-pluck - This is self-explanatory.

2)    Mono-brow – Dark hairs will be visible between brows. This will be a ‘turn off’ for guys and ‘close’ your face. Pluck or thread them into oblivion.

3)    Shave – The worst can be tidied without this drastic measure!

4)    Neglect – Always keep them tidy by brushing or plucking. A few hairs are all it takes to ‘turn off’ guys.

5)    Tattoo – Unnatural and rough. What more can be said?

Brow Make-up

Nothing is perfect, correct? Hence we use make-up to aim for perfection but without permanent damage. Very often, the arch is a little scanty. There may be gap or brows that are asymmetrical. Make-up gives the brows more impact, definition and length. Listed below are these finishing touches:

1)    Shadows – Begin with these. Once you have mastered this art, progress to pencils.

2)    Correct colour – The general rule of thumb is no more than two shades darker than the hair on your head. If this is difficult to obtain, then a gray-brown colour will suit most.

3)    Start further – Start a little distance from the bridge of your nose.

4)    Different areas, different techniques – Feathery strokes near the nose but longer down the arch and outer edge.

5)    Moisture differs – In shadow applications, the drier the brush, the softer the cloud of colour.

10 Minute Make-up!

Make-up consuming too much time but still cannot leave home without? Then this will be your perfect (almost) fix:

1)    0-2 minutes: Foundation – Apply for that fresh look.

2)    2-4 minutes: Lashes – Fast mascara lashes wake up your eyes. Always use water-proof for minimum side effects.

3)    4-5 minutes: Lipstick – Red means ‘go’!

4)    5-7 minutes: Fringed hair – Hold up your hair. Backcomb securely from the ends to the roots.

5)    7-9 minutes: Nails – Apply fast drying nail enamels. DO NOT match your enamel colour with your attire.

6)    9-10 minutes: Extra time out! – If not, apply some blushes for rosy cheeks.
