I Dremz of this...zzz... again...

This is my first design that I dream of 😴 It does not have a name. It is only now that I am revealing this. I cannot remember the reason for not doing so when I first completed this 'Arrowhead' design sketch 📝✏️💃 It may be from my career struggles 😿 The green colour is a manifestation of my care for the environment 🌍 Cocktail dresses are my favourite 🏅 No doubt of my dream selection 🧵🪡👗

I dreamed of this design during Halloween 2023 season 🎃 I am feeling deep grief 😢 I have lost my dearest one six months ago from my dream time😭 I have been watching many sea life documentaries since this loss. It is to divert my feelings from this loss. The fish bone skirt slit design represents the main purpose of my life now lost manifestation. I am still analysing this design and its other features manifestations 🔎 I will update these upon my findings. Surprisingly, I only dream of three designs throughout my long interest in fashion and textiles. This is my favourite dream design 🥇 It is a blend of conservative and sexiness 🫦💋👄 I hope these appeal my fans too 🤩

Fully Armed Name Cards

As I do NOT have qualifications and experiences in graphic design, I have to learn from mistakes and public feedback. My NEWLY replenished Name Cards have clearer texts. The fifth (5th) and additional tip for name card design will be:

5)    NO overlapping - Ensure that texts do NOT overlap with logos or symbols (if any)

Now, we are fully armed!

Subvera for good health

I am sure that you have figured that my inspiration for this is reflected in the name. Yes, Aloe Vera, when I was actively promoting it some months ago. Let us celebrate good health for all my fashionistas J

I Dremz of this...zzz...

I dreamed of 'Dremz' on Sun, 13 OCT 2013. The large bow has registered in my mind sub-consciously. This feature is in one of my former college's student's recent fashion show. I believe this design is a compilation of all sub-consciously registered features. These colours are dull and dark. My worst design is better than this. I like this design but not its colours. I may have to ask an other-worldly professional the interpretation for this appearance. It is all up to my fans. What do you think?

Dark Moon...

Dark Moon (F)

A radical mandarin gown which is designed out of disappointment in the midst of this joyous Mid-Autumn season. Important features such as mandarin collar and functional mandarin buttons maintain identity. With disappointment...

NAME CARD – First Impression Counts!

My print dealer that provided excellent past services by designing and printing my name card has surprisingly decided to rip me off when I replenished my stock. Not knowing the reason for this, I am very disappointed. Fortunately, I have acquired the knowledge and skills to design my own and researched other printing resources. MY new name card now features my muse AMANDA. This is one of my many bad experiences that have a happy ending. Now, I have a greater sense of accomplishment and pride with my new name card.

Depending on one’s preference, a presentable conditioned name card is important for a good first impression. Unfortunately, I did not receive any advice and I discovered these through costly experience. Below, are invaluable tips I would like to share in hope that none will repeat my mistakes:

1)    8.5cm x 5.0cm size – This may seem small but it fits comfortably in most wallets and purses. There is still a lot more allowances should these pockets or compartments are smaller.

2)    Rounded corners – Looking good has a purpose. This will minimize ugly bends and friction effects.

3)    Matt Laminated Art Paper – Request for tear and water resistant ones with a weight  NOT below 200gsm. This will ensure durability.

4)    Card box – Regardless of material, ensure that the name card storage box has a hole underneath. This will ease removing the name cards from the box without fumbling over.

I hope these will work well and leave a lasting good impression for all.

Pelangbow, over the rainbow...((( for X'mas 2012!

Pelangbow Illustration Board

Pelangbow Sketch (F) - Inspired by rain and its aftermath, the rainbow. These three colour bands are refracted the most, hence their selection out of seven colours.

Pelangbow Sketch (R) - Pelangi is rainbow in Malaysian language. The name fuses both worlds in fashion!

After more than a dozen rainbow and rain inspired designs, this is my average client's winning choice. She choose this for the colours, spirals and unique sleeves. I am proud :-) This is also my illustration naming day, AMANDA...well, what a coincidence! I am made to serve fashion :-O Now that my design is complete for this season's greetings, you can party in this gloomy X'mas 2012 weather in full vibrancy.

Now you have a reason NOT to flee this weather...

Have a Holly Jolly X'mas & New Year!

Fashiolympic 2 / Fashioville

With the start of Paralympics two days ago, the party and fun starts all over! Inspired by Mandeville, the Paralympics mascot, this is better than the first. With the addition of metallic silver, I want to raise the profile and add more glitter to this unfairly underrated event. Now, the Victory Ceremony Uniform is more significant. What do you think?

Fashiolympic - Victory Ceremony Uniform

With one (1) week to go to the London Paralympics 2012, this should have been the uniform. Inspired by the 'Union Jack', the blue theme is still maintained. However, the tone is lighter. Red and white are used to reflect energy and vibrancy. I would NOT insist this as the best design but definitely better than the official ones. There is still room for improvements. I gladly welcome them (^_^)
