You have been a loyal user of premium brand tryes for more than 10 years. You have been satisfied and comfortable with your choice. Then the economic uncertainty dons. They have taken the decision to discontinue your tyre size due to low demand. You are unable to use other sizes as it does not meet your car specifications.
The moral : Premium brands are unappreciative of loyalist as they always prioritise profits.
What to do now? : This is a good reason to change to economical tyre brands. Sometimes they are almost as good as or better than premium ones. They usually have a larger customer base and rarely abandon customers. They also have bigger sales and support networks. If luxury cars can choose them as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), they are definitely not sub-standard or low quality.
During economic uncertainties, try using all-season tyres such as Goodyear Vector 4Seasons. These will be cheaper and less troublesome than having seasonal tyre sets. Now, you have surplus finance to go for that desired fashion shopping spree. What am I saying here? Just kidding ;-)
